GACE - A Guide for American Christian Education for the Home and School Jim Rose compiled articles and lesson plans from a number of PA teachers to lay a groundwork for beginning a PA education in your home. It has been indispensable to me in beginning and maintaining a biblical principle focus for my home school. You may purchase this book at www.ACHIPA.com. If you have trouble getting a response, email me and I'll call Mr. Rose for you. lsinnock@gmail.com 7. America's Providential History, put out by the Providence Foundation This is an excellent text for Jr. High and up. It summarizes the Red Book instructions in a manner that is, perhaps, more palatable for younger students. http://www.providencefoundation.com/ 8. The Mighty Works of God series, put out by The Pilgrim Institute http://www.pilgriminstitute.org/pilgrim/ 9. A Guide for Learning and Teaching the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution (my children call this book "Steve", for short) This is a high school level text that walks you through the foundations for our Declaration, then examines the Declaration and the Constitution. There is a test in the back that encourages the students to memorize, by subject, the Constitution. It uses Common Sense, by Thomas Paine, as a supplement. 10. The Noah Plan - For information on this curriculum, visit www.FACE.net. 11. The Light and the Glory series includes adult publications and youth publications (about 4th grade level). Included are: The Light and the Glory, From Sea to Shining Sea, and Sounding Forth the Trumpet. 12. David Barton has written a number of books and pamphlets on our founding. visit www.wallbuilders.com |
